Three Tampa Bay beaches ranked among TripAdvisor’s best in America

Travel website TripAdvisor released its annual ranking of America’s best patches of sand in 2020, and three Tampa Bay beaches made the cut.

The “Traveller’s Choice” list, which was based on the site's 435 million user reviews, placed Siesta Key as the top beach in the country, with St. Pete Beach at the no. 2 spot, and Clearwater Beach at no. 5e.

In total, seven Florida beaches made the cut, including Pensacola Beach, Hollywood Beach, Panama City Beach, St. Augustine Beach, and Santa Rosa Beach.

On a related note, Siesta Key was also ranked as the 11th best beach in the site’s worldwide rankings, with St. Pete Beach taking the no. 16 spot.
