Monogamous relationships will always be prevalent, but alternative relationships are quickly becoming a popular alternative. While you may never know what actually goes on behind the closed doors of your neighbors' and coworkers' homes, that squeaky clean image most couples portray is just a facade.
As the new year approaches, I predict even more people will become open to alternative relationships. Some will embrace their new lifestyle as a way of life while others will continue to keep it a dark, dirty secret. Whatever the reason, more of us will identify with one these lifestyles than ever before.
