Traffic will be traffic in downtown Tampa this weekend

Hey guys, expect plenty of traffic in your traffic.

With multiple major events happening at the same time in downtown Tampa this weekend, city officials are warning residents that traffic will likely suck, which is really no different than any other weekend.

But for those of you venturing near the downtown area, the City of Tampa did issue a Traffic Advisory, announcing multiple street and lane closures and stating that “drivers and pedestrians alike are advised to allow for extra travel time and to travel through the area with caution.”

Thursday, April 25, 2019     7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

N. Ashley Drive - southbound outside lane closure - from W. Gasparilla Plaza to E. Madison Street with a break at E. Twiggs Street

Friday, April 26, 2019            6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

N. Ashley Drive - southbound outside lane closure - from W. Gasparilla Plaza to E. Madison Street with a break at E. Twiggs Street

Friday, April 26, 2019         2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

W. Gasprilla Plaza – street closure – from W. Cass Street to N. Ashley Drive

Saturday, April 27 2019         6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
