Twisted Sisters

FUNDRAISER

Bingo used to be a game played exclusively by overstuffed cruise ship passengers and damp seniors in sweltering church basements. Not anymore. This Thursday, Tampa Metro Center presents Bingo-A-Go-Go, a fundraiser hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The Sisters, a "worldwide domination benevolent organization of drag nuns" (their words), put a decidedly different spin on things. You get eight games for $10, and there are "chance prizes" (tickets to Fantasy in Flight and MOSI, hats, a free haircut) in addition to the cash payouts for the winners. Just make sure you behave, as these sisters are packing more than just a ruler for your knuckles. Thurs., May 4, 7:30 p.m., 6421 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, flsisters.org.
