The guest speaker will be Cherri Foytlin, a Louisiana resident who recently walked to Washington D.C. from New Orleans, LA, to raise awareness of these issues. She has spoken with top public officials, as well as in media and public forums, across the nation. Foytlins book, Spill It! The Truth About the Gulf Oil Catastrophe, was recently accepted by the Louisiana Library Association as a member of the prestigious Authors Row.
