No Republican candidate polls better in Florida opposite Barack Obama than Mitt Romney., and unless something shocking happens, no other candidate looks to have what it takes in a general election to knock off the President than the former Massachusetts Governor.

So it makes sense that if the Democratic National Committee is going to take up time and resources to go on the offensive, they really should start concentrating on Romney, at least when he makes an appearance in Florida, as he did on Tuesday, visiting seniors at the Villages before making a romp up to Tallahassee.

The visits to speak with seniors about Social Security prompted DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to engage with reporters on a conference call on Tuesday, where she used some of Romney's previous comments about supporting privatizing Social Security as a call to attack.
