12The Arts Center unveils several new fall exhibits tonight, among them, Skin City: The Art of the Tattoo, which examines the evolution of the tattoo as an art form. For more info, see p. 25. 5:30-7:30 p.m., opening reception, St. Petersburg.

13Beer mugs created by more than 60 St. Pete Clay Company artists are sold full of Yuengling beer throughout today's Oktoberfest Brew-Ha-Ha. Other diversions include live music, a prize drawing, artist demos, food and a kid's art booth. 1-7 p.m., St. Petersburg Clay Company.

14Jameson Comedy Tour — a nationally touring showcase sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey — spotlights the laugh-producing talents of Bert Kreischer, Danny Bevins, Michael Loftus and Nick Griffin. 7 p.m., The Tampa Improv, Ybor City.

15The latest independent feature produced by Clearwater's Chameleon Filmworks is Hallows Point, a horror flick shot entirely in the Bay area with a predominately local cast and crew. See it tonight at Beach Theatre or SunStar Theatres Seminole 8.

16The local observance of African People's Solidarity Day features presentations by Omali Yeshitela, Mfanelo Skwatsha and Chernoh Alpha Bah, as well as a performance by St. Petersburg hip-hop artist Krown. 6:30 p.m., [email protected], St. Petersburg.

1712 Girls Band plays ancient Chinese compositions and Western classical and pop music using traditional East Asian instruments. 7:30 p.m., Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.
