08A new exhibit is unveiled at the HCC-Ybor Art Gallery. Maria Chiriboga: Traditional Polychrome Devotional Art from Ecuador features a collection of Chiriboga's colorful polychrome wood sculptures. Meet the artist at tonight's reception, which occurs from 5 to 8 p.m. HCC Performing Arts Building, Ybor City.

09The Old Man and the Naughty School Girl is an R-rated show of stand-up by the Bay area's own dirty bird comedian, Pretty Paul Parsons, and NYC's April Macie, who was featured on Last Comic Standing 4. 8 and 10:30 p.m., Side Splitters Comedy Club, Carrollwood.

10In From Jail To Yale — Serving Time On Stage, Charles "Roc" Dutton combines narrative with excerpts from plays by August Wilson and Richard Wright, and scenes from his '80s television show, Roc. Abe Brown Ministries benefits. 2 and 7:30 p.m., Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa.

11Artists from all over the country sell their wares along the banks of Booker Creek in St. Pete's hilliest (and some say prettiest) neighborhood during the 4th annual Historic Roser Park Art Festival.
