We all know that in most comical stories involving a Florida man doing something not-so-smart and law enforcement intervening, it's typically the Florida man who is up to no good, and is typically up to no good because of meth.
But Seattle alt-weekly The Stranger offers us a different sort of Florida Man tale, accompanied with hilarious illustrations.
It all started when a Tampa man vacationing in the city wanders downtown at 1 a.m. and asks a couple of random people to break a hundred-dollar bill.
It didn't go well.
Now, Tampa might not be the murder capital of the world, but it's no Mayberry, either. So obviously the question of how that level of naivete could exist within a Tampanian just mystifies us. In fact, we're mystified enough to sense that there might actually be more to the story than what he told police.
