Greer lawsuit sheds light on inner-workings of endemic corruption within Fla. G.O.P.
By Chris Ingram
You cant write fiction this well.
Disgraced former RPOF Chairman Jim I cant find a job making six figures at a bowling alley Greer has filed a ridiculous lawsuit against the state party and its Chairman John double-talk Thrasher. I dont have any love lost for either of these clowns, and in fact I am actually enjoying the circus-like atmosphere they and others in the Florida G.O.P. created.
I cant help but be reminded of the old saying, If you lay with the dogs, expect to get fleas. Or in this case, If you lie with the dogs, expect to get fleas. These people all get what they deserve: each other. The whole state party and the Republican leadership in Florida is dominated by narcissistic, ego-driven, power-hungry and corrupt do-nothings who care nothing about anything than their own re-election. Theyre willing to compromise principles, good judgment, ethics, and right from wrong in order to maintain power. The incestuous nature of Tallahassee politics will be exposed by Jim Greer and his lawsuit, and for that we owe him our appreciation.
So yes, with a smirk on my face I am relishing the sad state of the Florida GOP and hoping this pathetic chapter in its history will cause real people to stand up and demand better, run for office, and put a stop to the bankrupting of our state and our nation compliments of the people whom we elect.
Ill step off my soap box now. If you want to read Greers ridiculous (but hilarious) lawsuit which will no doubt expose all sorts of GOP shenanigans under discovery, click here.
