You no longer have to live with the guilt that your toilet paper was made by cutting down a forest full of trees thanks to SugarMade and their treeless t.p. If the company's name hadn't already tipped you off, this revolutionary paper is made from sugar cane, namely recycled sugar cane bagasse, an agricultural crop by-product.
Their website states:
"Bagasse is the fibrous residue left over after the sugar cane has been crushed and the sugar extracted. The bagasse is pulped and ECF bleached, and then the bagasse fibers are woven to create our paper and tableware products."
Now I'm sure the next question you're going to ask is, "But does it taste sweet?" While I personally haven't handled the product, it seems one person who tried it and commented on Re-Nest's blog post said it is, "definitely sugarless in flavor." Good to know.
