Attorney General Ashley Moody’s office is asking the Supreme Court to back away from more than three decades of legal precedents that have said the privacy clause applies to abortion rights.
FEMA said on its website that the revamped system takes into account more variables that affect flooding and will result in rates ‘that are actuarially sound…’
The filing also indicated that the state plans to use the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 24 ruling that struck down the decades-old Roe v. Wade abortion-rights.
