In Phase One of Floridas plan for reopening during the coronavirus pandemic, restaurants are permitted to open their patios with six-feel social distancing. And many local restaurants are chomping at the bit to welcome guests back to their establishments. These Tampa Bay dining and drinking destinations have opened up their dining rooms and patios, with COVID-19 precautions in place, to offer their guests the culinary experience they’ve missed in a safe manor.

The Salt Shack

The Salt Shack, one of Tampa’s largest outdoor tiki bars and waterfront patios, has reopened to the public. Guests can expect their regular full menu featuring their staple grouper sandwich, fish tacos and frozen daiquiris, as well as increased precautions like spaced out tables and a limited capacity.

Jackson’s Bistro is now open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Jackson’s waterfront dining experience will feature social distancing and CDC guidelines, but the full menu will be available ? sushi, steak and all. Neighboring restaurant, American Social, is open at 25% capacity indoors and tables spaced 6-feet apart on its waterfront patio overlooking downtown Tampa.

Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant reopened with limited seating at a capacity of 25%. The restaurant’s signature dishes and margaritas are available now Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Tampa’s Meat Market reopened its dine-in service with many safety precautions in place such as: required temperature checks lower than 100 degrees for guest and staff entry; available hand sanitizer for all guests; six-feet social distancing and disposable menus.
