After launching a second Tampa restaurant on May 10, Zoës Kitchen has announced its first location in St. Petersburg. The fast-casual Mediterranean chain’s newest outpost at 1320 Fourth St. N. is set to open next month.

The Mediterranean’s 21 countries drive the simple, straightforward menu at Zoës, where grilling is the main method of cooking. The chain also puts an emphasis on fresh fruits, veggies and herbs, olive oil and lean proteins, showcasing dishes that include hummus, salads, soup, kebabs, bowls and sandwiches.

As is tradition, the debut of Zoës St. Pete means the first 50 guests in line on opening day get to spin the “Goodness Wheel,” an opportunity resulting in coveted prizes like a $50 gift card or $100 off a $250 catering order.

A social media contest with buy-one-get-one-free entrees and a year’s worth of free food is also planned, but entry details are yet to be announced.

St. Pete is the third Zoës to open locally — fourth if Sarasota is in on the count. Tampa Bay’s first location premiered in the SoHo district of Tampa in 2017.
