You didn't think the chain served the Impossible Burger, did ya?

On either side of the bay, a new menu has made its way to Bar Louie locations in Clearwater and at Tampa’s International Plaza. On Friday, the Texas-based neighborhood bar chain welcomed the lineup, which focuses on shareable dishes such as pub sliders, flatbreads and street tacos.

Spicy fried chickpeas, the plant-based Impossible Burger topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and garlic aioli (though I’m not sure what’s up with all of that salt in the photo above), and pulled chicken nachos are among the other additions.

There’s also an updated list of booze-infused desserts, but don’t worry — the beverages weren’t left behind. Both bars now highlight a revamped mix of signature cocktails (think strawberry lemonade sangria and s’mores martini), wine and craft beers, including locally brewed options.

Guests of Bar Louie Clearwater can expect drafts like the HOB Mango Hefeweizen, Cigar City Jai Alai and Escape Brown Chicken Brown Cow, while pours like the Coppertail Free Dive IPA, Tampa Bay Brewing Reef Donkey APA and 3 Daughters Coffee Blonde Ale are available to International Plaza patrons.

“At Bar Louie, we’re committed to providing unique, fun places for local friends and neighbors to gather and enjoy handcrafted cocktails, delicious food, awesome music and great service,” said Bar Louie chef Steve Madonna in a statement. “This new menu was created to enhance that experience and delight our customers — both old and new — and to continue ensuring that Bar Louie is ‘THE’ local hot spot from day-to-night — to late-night — and during happy hour as well.”

Known for its energetic setting, Bar Louie operates more than 133 outposts throughout the country. There are six Florida locations outside of Tampa Bay: one each in Boynton Beach, Miami and Coconut Creek, plus three in Orlando.
