✔️ Royal Blood w/Turbowolf They say rock is dying, but don’t tell that to Royal Blood, whose new album, How Did We Get So Dark?, fulfills the promise the duo made on its searing, self-titled 2014 debut. The band has been hand-picked to tour alongside Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters in the past, and listeners can fully expect Royal Blood’s smoldering take on hard rock to put the band in more arenas as the years roll on. Another English band — psych-tronic quartet Turbowolf — opens the rowdy show. (Jannus Live, St. Petersburg) INFO

✔️ Florida’s Got the Blues w/Sarasota Slim A new exhibit at the Largo Public Library highlights the men and women who made the Sunshine State’s early blues and juke joints rumble. On Tuesday evening, one of the Bay area’s longest-running and most-respected purveyors of the blues — Sarasota Slim — will play tunes as part of this presentation from the Suncoast Blues Society. The exhibit closes on June 30 if you can’t make it out to this show. (Largo Public Library, Largo) INFO
