Acting out at the Tampa Bay Theatre Festival

Acting out.

Attention, actors and people who love to watch actors: This weekend Tampa Bay Theatre Festival returns with delicious theater experiences, both for actors and for audiences. The fest, now in its third year, will include 6 full-length plays, 14 short plays, 15 monologues and an improv show that includes four improv troupes from around the Tampa Bay area. The weekend kicks off with a free acting workshop (led by Harry Lennix) and opening night networking party at the Straz with musical artist, R Anthony — a Tampa native who appeared on The Voice. An awards party at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts rounds out the weekend.
