Miami-based breakfast and brunch concept, Bacon Bitch, is expanding to the ‘Burg. The forthcoming resto is taking over Bodega’s former space at 1124 Central Ave. in St. Pete.

The restaurant specializes in, you guessed it, bacon. Like the signature, Queens croissant with bacon, scrambled eggs and melted cheddar. Bacon Bitch is an Instagram sensation with 45.2K followers, posting serious food porn of decadent eats.

According to local blog St. Pete Rising, Queens Hospitality recently signed the lease, which means construction should soon be underway.

The menu has six sections: Main Bitch (loaded croissants), Side Bitch (side items) Naked Bitch (entrees), Extra Bitch (extra toppings), Cafe Bitch (espresso drinks) and fresh-squeezed juice.

Naked Bitch dishes range from hangover essentials like the Cajun with melted cheddar cheese, cheddar stuffed has browns, sausage, caramelized onions and topped with a fried egg - to the Fit egg white omelet stuffed with tomato, spinach, grilled peppers and onions. Other entrees include eats like chicken and waffles alongside steak and eggs. These plates range from $13-$24.

Side items include silver dollar pancakes, cheddar-stuffed hash browns, and inside out Nutella stuffed French toast.

Bacon Bitch also has a lineup of classic brunch sips like bloody marys, mimosas as well as a handful of seasonal craft cocktails.

More details to come as construction begins and an official opening date is announced.
