Were not sure how many promising young curators with bold ideas would want to make their home anywhere but New York, Los Angeles or Miami, so when one shows up (or, in this case, sticks around) we feel, well grateful. Izabel Galliera, a new edition to the staff at USF Contemporary Art Museum, knocked our socks off earlier this year with Stereovision, a showcase of artworks exploring the intersection of technology and visual perception. That shes a graduate of USFs own masters program in art history only speaks well of local arts education. We cant wait to see more from Galliera and we hope more folks like her will stick around and make a difference in the Bay areas arts community.
