Noah Gundersen and Harrison Whitford just sold out their Thursday concert in Tampa

And there’s no way they can jam anyone else in the Attic.

You wouldn’t be out of line if you took mushrooms before seeing Noah Gundersen play songs from 2019’s best album titled Lover (sorry, Taylor.) The 30-year-old Washington songwriter had a rough 2018, so he started therapy (and eating psilocybin mushrooms for medicinal purposes) soon after that.

His transformative year is chronicled painfully on Lover, which’ll sound like the open-wound it is when Gundersen hits Ybor’s most pristine listening room. Bonus points, too, as songwriter Harrison Whitford—who’s collaborated with Phoebe Bridgers, Joe Bonamassa and even played on Gundersen’s Lover—opens the show.

Noah Gundersen w/Harrison Whitford. Thu. Feb. 20, 8 p.m. Sold-out. The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing, Ybor City. theatticyborcity.com
