Be fooled by their names: Retard-O-Bot and Screaming Mechanical Brain really are that weird. Tampa-grown Retard-O-Bot is fresh-out-of-the-box weird-looking, one part bumble bees, one part Dr. Seuss characters who produce some scary post-industrial electro-rock. Minnesota's Screaming Mechanical Brain follows the same vein: scary, weird, loud. Friday night, they'll be freaking out the crowd at the State Theatre.
