Orange Cycle Creamery's pistachio rose water and lavender honey ice creams make a delicious combo.

Lavender honey, root beer float and black walnut are a few of the artisan ice cream flavors churning out of Orange Cycle Creamery. The sweets shop at 212 E. Tarpon Ave. — most recently home to Hello Sunshine Cafe — rolled into downtown Tarpon Springs in late April with more than 20 varieties available by the scoop, including a rotating selection that changes often.

In a cozy, inviting setting, Orange Cycle makes its large lineup of ice cream on-site, as well as its waffle cones and bowls. Customers are welcome to order their flavors in banana split, milkshake, malt, sundae or float form, too.

Sugar-free, vegan and gluten-free patrons are also in good hands, as the shop hasn't forgotten about their cravings, either. Strawberry banana and chocolate are among the vegan options. But if you're cool with dairy and you go, try the combination of two ice creams in particular: pistachio rose water and lavender honey, one of Orange Cycle's most popular flavors.

It's friggin' delicious.

Orange Cycle is open from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
