Your internet sharing and shouting on social media is great and all, but all of that online activism needs to meet a ballot box when the upcoming election on November 6 arrives (Florida amendments and the state's governorship are among the many items on the ballot).
October 9 is the last day to register to vote.

To register, you must be a U.S. citizen who is at least 18 years old and a Florida resident who has their civil rights intact. State laws also allow you to register or update an existing registration at a drivers license office, public libraries, centers for independent living, WIC and DCF offices, and of course, any elections office, according to the Hillsborough and Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Offices.
Luckily, since you're probably reading this on your phone or computer, you can also register to vote — in English and Spanish — online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov.
You will need your state driver's license or identification card issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles. If you don't have that information, you can also pre-fill a voter registration application form online to print, sign and deliver to your county Supervisor of Elections office.
