This February, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams announced the launch of two locations in Tampa Bay. One at The Pearl (across from Armature Works) in Tampa Heights and another at Sparkman Wharf. The Sparkman Wharf location—the first Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream in Florida—has officially opened just in time to help beat these rising temps.
The walk-up window is slinging more than a dozen flavors of the best-selling flavors including Brambleberry Crisp and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. According to Jeni’s website, guests are urged to ask the “ambassadors” about a few seasonal surprises that aren’t on the menu.
Prices range from $5 for a standard two half scoops cone or a single full scoop cone to $6 for a three half scoop trio.
Sparkman Wharf has been busy revamping its empty refurbished shipping containers over the last few weeks. This month, the Naked Farmer launched its second location at the outdoor market.
Hours for the Jeni’s Sparkman Wharf location are 4 p.m.-9 p.m. Tues.-Thurs., 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Fri.-Sun. and closed on Monday.
