Tampa Bay natives and brothers Adam and Ian Lieberman are quickly expanding their casual-Mexican concept, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, throughout Florida—and they’re finally opening a location in their hometown. Riverview becomes home to the newest Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, when it celebrates its grand opening next Monday, Feb. 24.
At the grand opening—happening at 10240 Big Bend Rd. in Riverview—the Lieberman Brothers will raise money for the local nonprofit Love IV Lawrence, in honor of their close friend who took his life years ago.
Known for its quick service, fresh ingredients, and massive catering platters, the Fuzzy’s menu is stacked with made-to-order Mexican classics like burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas. This fast-casual restaurant also boasts vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has three other locations throughout the greater Tampa Bay area in Sarasota, Brandon and Tampa—plus restaurants in Lakeland and Orlando.
The Lieberman Brothers’ Florida expansion won’t stop at their new Riverview restaurant, either. According to an official statement, the owners and operators will most likely open five more Fuzzy’s Taco Shops in the Polk County area over the next two years.
