Let's get back to normal, Tampa Bay.

Wine & Rhyme w/Ty Walker/Vern Sr./S.T.A.R./Cam Bertrand And let's start with Wine & Rhyme, which is taking back yesterday's cancelled event and taking Tuesday to stage its Monday party at Anise Global Gastropub in downtown Tampa. Jon Shea's S.T.A.R. project (it stands for soundtrack to a revolution) is set to play a set that'll bounce around hip-hop, jazz, funk and even EDM while Tampa emcee Vern Sr. puts down the rhymes. Cam Bertrand will provide laughs, and CHFRS' Ty Walker — fresh off his first ever live performance — rounds things out. (Anise Global Gastro Bar, Tampa) INFO

CANCELLED: Jane Ross Fallon w/Jack Sprouse So they can't get the lights on at Crooked Thumb. No go, folks. Award-winning songwriter and author Jane Ross Fallon brings music (and hopefully the power to let residents flush their toilets) to Safety Harbor where she'll be joined by Band of Sorrows frontman Jack Sprouse. There isn't any whiskey to sip on at Safety Harbor, but a beer will do just fine after the weekend we all just had. (Crooked Thumb Brewery, Safety Harbor) INFO

Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Documentary The Tampa Theatre narrowly escaped Irmageddon-related damage (read more on that here), and tonight is a good chance to get into some air conditioning and catch John Scheinfeld's highly regarded John Coltrane documentary whilst sitting inside the cool safety of one of the world's most beautiful movie theaters. (Tampa Theatre, Tampa) INFO

May It Last: A Portrait of the Avett Brothers A Judd Apatow-directed, intimate look at The Avett Brothers will screen for one night only in Citrus Park, and we've called mall management to make sure it was still on. (Regal Cinemas 20 Citrus Park, Tampa) INFO
