In case you haven't noticed, it's a beaut' out there today. Live music kicks off in the afternoon this Saturday with Oldsmar's Centennial concert at Tampa Bay Downs and Gasparilla Music Festival's rolling concert series on the TECO Streetcar Line.

Prophets of Rage will rally against insanity at the Old Gary tonight and Jonny Lang is in St. Pete. Skeletonwhich is also in Ybor City, but there is so much more, so go head and have a look & listen below.

Jonny Lang w/Guthrie Brown Who wants to stay the night at the Palladium? On the day after santur player Nandkishor Muley takes us through some quiet meditation, blues-rock guitar extraordinaire Jonny Lang is going to bring his guitar and unmistakable howl to St. Pete. Fans may have seen him on Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Hendrix tribute superbill back in February, but he’ll be solo plus front and center for this one in support of a 2013 LP, Fight For My Soul. Bonus music comes in the form of an opening set by Guthrie Brown, a Nashville pop songwriter who wowed the audience at the 2015 Gasparilla Music Festival thanks a voice that defies the youthful innocent look on his face. City of Oldsmar Centennial Concert w/Steve Augeri/Buck Dharma/John Cafferty/Michael Antunes/more The City of Oldsmar is old. One hundred years old, to be exact, and they are capping off their year-long centennial celebration by throwing a big $50,000 party where Journey’s old lead singer (Steve Augeri), the fiddle player for Kansas (Robby Steinhardt) and Blue Oyster Cult’s Buck Dharma will throw down at Tampa Bay Downs. Is the show going to be worth it for Oldsmar? “Well, this only happens every 100 years,” Oldsmar city council member Jerry Beverland said in an April meeting. “I’m all for it.” (Tampa Bay Downs, Tampa) INFO

Love, A Lilith Affair w/Irish Calling/Lisa Noe/Emily Turnage Do you miss Lilith Fair? Are you young enough to have missed any installment of Lilith Fair? You might want to head out to Hideaway Cafe where a collective of local female musicians will attempt to rekindle the magic of the empowering fest which started about two decades ago. Gasparilla Music Festival Presents: Streetcar Live w/Lady and the Bard Gasparilla Music Festival’s rolling concert series (literally it rolls on the tracks of the TECO streetcar) is back, and this time it welcomes St. Petersburg’s Lady and the Bard to the Ybor City rails where Michelle and Jimmy Moore will play their throwback homage to old jazz, blues and folk music for fans of all ages. Just over 70 folks can fit onto the trolley, so the trick here is to find a parking spot in Ybor City then head over to the streetcar’s Centennial Park Station where the trip leaves at 5 p.m. You can hop off anywhere, or take the whole journey together. The best part is that it’ll only cost you $5 at the very most. (TECO Streetcar Line, Ybor City) INFO

Emo Night Brooklyn Not to be confused with First Chance Last Chance’s recurring emo night, this event is the travelling version of the emo DJ night made famous in Brooklyn, where our hipster ancestors first arrived on their sustainably-sourced Mayflower ocean vessel almost two decades ago. If you know the lyrics to songs by Thursday, Saves the Day or Brand New, then the selections here are probably going to be your jams. Break out that studded white belt you bought at Hot Topic when you were three sizes smaller, too because Yellowcard frontman Ryan Key as been officially added as a guest DJ.
