Hand-selected live tattooed models will be in attendance.

Dunedin History Museum hosts 'The Picture Gallery: Ink on Skin' event

In honor of its latest exhibition, Jagged Lines: America’s Tattoo TraditionDunedin History Museum is hosting a showcase called The Picture Gallery: Ink on Skin

The event will feature live tattooed models who were selected from an open call because of their unique pieces. Event attendees can vote for their favorite. The winner will receive a cash prize. 

Artists from local tattoo shops including High Tide and Metamorphosis will be on-site with their portfolios. 

Tickets include admission, special entertainment along with signature cocktails and bites provided by downtown businesses including Harley's Popcorn & Cider, Dipped & Sprinkled for $25. Tickets can be purchased online at dunedinmuseum.org, or at the museum on the day of the event. 

Want to join in on the fun but don't have any ink to sport? There will be complimentary one-minute henna tattoos by artist Heather DeRigo from East West Henna. If you're craving something more elaborate, larger designs available for an additional fee.

The event will run from 6-9 p.m. at the museum which is located at 349 Main St.

Jagged Lines: America’s Tattoo Tradition will be on display through Dec 28, 2019.
