After celebrating a soft opening maiden voyage last weekend, The Big Catch at Salt Creek will host its grand opening in Old St. Petersburg this Thursday, July 11.

Docked on the edge of Salt Creek, The Big Catch will serve fresh Gulf seafood, wings, and beer and cocktails from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

Restaurant owners Mario Farias, Jon LaBudde and Larry Munch purchased the building after the long-standing Fish Tales Seafood House was forced to close back in October of 2018. With months of renovation and planning under their belt, Farias told the St. Pete Catalyst that the soft opening was, for the most part, smooth sailing.

If you’re looking for a new gig, The Big Catch is hiring full-time servers this week, according to their Facebook page.

The Big Catch is located at 1500 2nd St. South, Saint Petersburg.
