Perched on a lovely New Orleans-style balcony in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, A Taste for Wine is the ideal spot to sip crisp wines or fancy beers and snack on a pretty appetizer plate of cheeses and fruits while looking down at the street life below which ranges from clubbers to gallery-goers to tourists to vagrants hanging on Central Avenue near Jannus Landing and Detroit Liquors, the ones who rifle through the garbage, panhandle, busk, and ask members of the proletariat if they can read em a shitty poem for a dollar. We can think of more serene tableaus, but, hey, its the city, right?
