Tampa's Dwntwn Social is serving up bubble waffles and healthy shakes

And it’s offering something strangely similar to a Freakshake.

A trip to Dwntwn Social will leave your Instagram feed filled with dangerously deceptive eats. The joint made its debut in April, specializing in healthy, and colorful, teas, acai bowls, shakes and waffles.

The gourmet waffles and shakes are packed with 24 grams of protein and are under 300 calories. Vegan shakes are also up for grabs. The teas are loaded with antioxidants, enriched with vitamins and provide energy with 85-120 mg of caffeine.

Diners can choose from five different waffle options, and opt for either Belgian or bubble. One of which is the "Kennedy"-a vanilla waffle, topped with banana, raspberries, strawberries, coconut flakes, Nutella, and whipped cream.

Please remember, although Dwntwn Social’s selection has a health-focus, smacking two protein waffles back-to-back is... eh, it's your body, do what you want.

Other menu items include oats, coffee, and what looks to be a take on the Freakshake called the “Social AF Shake and Waffles” for $25 made with stacked Belgian waffles, various other desserts and topped with a sparkler (Bake’n Babes, just a short walk away, popularized the milkshake on steroids here in Tampa).

Dwntwn Social is located at 1000 W. Kennedy suite 100 in the former Blue Moon Trading Company space. Vowels cost extra, we guess.

You can slide by for your Instagramable eats 10 a.m.-7 p.m. seven days a week. If you’re still not ready to dine-in, you can opt for curbside pickup.
