Talking with Your Children About Cancer

The American Cancer Society along with the H. Lee Moffitt Center have designed a program to help children and their parents adjust to the emotional and physical changes that occur when a parent has cancer. This program is free and is held at the Lowry Park Zoo, 7530 N. Boulevard, Tampa. Lunch and an afternoon visit at the zoo are also included. Registration required. Call 813-972-8407.

Concert Benefits Children's Organization

Help With Water Clean-up

Volunteers are needed at the 14th annual Mayor's Hillsborough River and Waterways Clean-up, an event that helps to build communities that value and contribute to keeping Tampa's outdoor environment clean. Meals on Wheels Seeks Volunteers

The combination of a weak economy and the departure of MacDill Air Force Base from the volunteer program has strained resources at the elderly assistance organization.
