Welcome to Zombie Monday.

Mosaic, a Fortune 500 company unpopular with many fans of clean air and water, announced it will relocate its headquarters from Minnesota to Hillsborough County. They can't have already ruined all 10,000 lakes, can they?

It was reported yesterday that a Polk County mother and son were arrested on Mother's Day after an argument between the 27-year-old son and his 58-year-old father over whether or not the son should have any more booze turned violent. We're guessing the son probably didn't need any more booze. One thing nobody wants as a gift on Mother's Day is a forcibly guided tour of Central Booking.

A judge ruled that a Broward County elections officer broke the law when she destroyed ballots in a 2016 congressional race while there was a lawsuit in motion investigating the election's outcome. That seems like something an elections supervisor should know not to do. I wonder if she let the office put it to a vote...

And finally, the totals are in, and the Tampa Bay community raised more than $1.76 million for local nonprofits during the 24-hour Give Day Tampa Bay challenge on May 1. That's some nice work there, folks.
