Late-’90s metal band Static-X is bringing a 20th anniversary tour to Tampa Bay. Today, the Los Angeles-based band announced that the “Wisconsin Death Trip” tour, named for the band’s 1999 debut album, would hit Orpheum in Ybor City on November 16.

The only other Florida date is on November 17 at Club LA in Destin. Tickets start at $30 and are available via ticketmaster.com.

DevilDriver will co-headline the show. Dope, Wednesday 13 and Raven Black play support. The show may also be Static-X’s first Ybor City gig since a 2003 show as part of Guavaween?

"We want to say thank you to everyone who has participated in this 20th anniversary celebration of Wisconsin Death Trip," the band wrote in a release. It says that a new album, Project Regeneration, will feature the original Static-X lineup (including bassist Tony Campos, guitarist Koichi Fukuda and drummer Ken Jay) and is set for release soon.

“We are beyond grateful for all the love that you guys have shown us,” the band added about the tour, which honors late Static-X singer Wayne Static, who died in 2014.
