Comprehensive Epilepsy Program

Tampa General Hospital's rehabilitation center explores the myths and facts about epilepsy, and details cutting edge epilepsy research and treatment options. Meet TGH physicians, nurses, EEG technologists and patients involved in the epilepsy program. International Education Week
Nov. 12-16
Secretary of State Colin Powell declared Nov. 12-16 International Education Week, during which the Department of State recognizes the role of international education and exchange. The Office of International Affairs at USF commemorates the occasion with several events, including lectures, a Study Abroad fair and the Amazing International Race. Meals on Wheels Holiday Appeal
Meals on Wheels, which does not accept or receive government funding, launches its holiday campaign for contributions. Help MOW continue to prepare and deliver more than 450 hot, nutritious meals daily to the homebound, elderly and special needs population of Tampa. Donate Your Auto
Donate an operable used car, boat, camper or RV to The Salvation Army by Dec. 31, and get a great tax deduction. Donations will go directly to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center to help individuals with drug and alcohol addiction. Be an Angel
The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program provides holiday gifts for poverty-stricken children who may otherwise go without this season. Gifts are provided solely through donations by corporations and individuals, and much help is needed. To donate money, toys or to organize a drive, call 866-448-2672.

Metropolitan Ministries
The outreach center for the poor feeds thousands of homeless and poverty-stricken locals each month and is experiencing a severe food shortage. With holidays fast approaching, the agency needs not only donations of food, but gifts for all ages as well. To organize a drive, call 813-209-1007. To make a credit card donation, call 813-209-1017. Tampa AIDS Network
