Tampa’s Sunset Music Festival 2021 is now scheduled for December 26-27 at Raymond James Stadium.

The EDM festival usually happens on grounds surrounding RayJay over Memorial Day weekend, and those plans obviously changed thanks to concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus, but the party is getting rescheduled again.

“We knew it was a longshot AND we really wanted us all to be together — but the window has closed on the ability to put on a safe festival on the Fourth of July weekend,” Sunset wrote in a Friday evening press release.

Organizers said they “looked at all options,” but are now focused and excited to present “Sunset 2.0: The Gift Edition.” The good news is that full refunds are on the table along with perks to ticket holders who still want to attend (whose tickets will automatically be good for the December dates).

Perks include a $25 wristband credit for food and beverage, another $25 merch credit coupon and the first crack at Sunset 2021 tickets at the lowest rate.

The deadline to request a full refund, including service fees, is Sun. Nov. 22 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The release promises a full lineup before the refund deadline and added that, “Given the dynamic situation associated with the Coronavirus pandemic, Sunset 2.0  is working to develop the lineup, which will be announced when the global situation becomes more stable.”

Sunset 2.0: The Gift Edition happens at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Sat. Dec. 26 and Sun. Dec. 27 from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. daily.

“We acknowledge this is not what any of us wanted to hear, but we need to take all necessary precautions under these unprecedented times,” organizers added. “We love you and we cannot wait to get back to the party, in a safe environment along with the quality of operations and production that you come to expect from us.”
