It’s no secret—2020 put us in a funk. But a new restaurant in South Tampa is about to lift our mood.
Little Leon opens soon at 3636 Henderson Blvd. in the space previously held by Ethiopian restaurant Queen of Sheba, which moved to Temple Terrace. Its menu includes salads and bowls topped with their homemade dressings. Customers even get the option of customizing their online ordering and catering will be offered too.
“Storms may be brewing but we are all sunshine here,” the restaurant wrote on Instagram.
On Monday, General Manager Michael White told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay there will be plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available, and added that the name of the restaurant is derived from owner Austin Brennar’s family.
Little Leon will join the long list of other BYOB salad/bowl restaurants in the South Tampa area including Ciccio Cali, SoFresh, and Graze.

Hours of operation will be 11:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. daily.
