Leave it to a bunch of crafty hipsters to stage a showcase of handmade wares at one of Florida's kitschiest theme parks: Dinosaur World, home to 150-odd life-sized replicas of prehistoric behemoths, from the infamous Tyrannosaurus Rex to the lesser-known Stygimoloch. (We've never heard of it, either.) Mega-Craft-Zilla presents more than two dozen artisans from around the state peddling everything from handmade jewelry to stained glass to artworks and more, many of them members of the Florida Etsy Street Team (etsyfest.com). Pack a picnic basket — sadly, there's no food service at Dinosaur World — and get all Jurassic Park with a few craft-loving friends. Visit the event's website for a flier worth 50 percent off the park's $12.75 admission. Sun., March 16, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Dinosaur World, 5145 Harvey Tew Road (exit 17 off I-4), Plant City, 813-717-9865, dinoworld.net or megacraftzilla.com.
