That’s worse than postponed, people.

Last month, Chance the Rapper postponed his October concert to be there for his family after the birth of his daughter.

Now, that postponement has officially been changed to a cancelation.

In a press release, officials at Amalie Arena said that the concert is now canceled outright. “Due to building availability within new tour time period, we are unable to reschedule the Chance The Rapper concert at AMALIE Arena on Monday, October 14,” the release said. “Refunds for the cancelled performance will be available at point of purchase.”

Many of the Chance dates originally set for October (ie: New York, Washington D.C., Charlotte and Tampa) are now set for February on the rapper’s updated tour itinerary, but Amalie has six events (five hockey games and the Valentine’s Day Andrea Bocelli concert) on the books for the first two weeks of that month.

The tour was supposed to be in support of the Chicago MC’s new album, The Big Day, but it looks like Tampa Bay’s big day with Lil Chano isn’t coming at all.

Better start thinking about catching the homie at Miami Beach Pop Festival, kids.
