Tampa Bay’s XFL team has tapped Josh Bullock to be a leader in the front office.
In March 2018, Bullock joined the University of South Florida as its senior director of both athletics and development, where he focused in part on developing new athletic donor relationships. He arrived at USF after spending more than seven years with the Tampa Bay Rays, where he was vice president of corporate partnerships. As team president for the still nameless, never-kneeling Tampa Bay XFL franchise, Bullock and will oversee things like ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing and communications, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The news comes a couple of months after the team — which is set to start playing at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium in February — hired former Bears coach Marc Trestman as head coach and general manager and just weeks after former Atlanta Falcons head coach Jerry Glanville as the Tampa Bay XFL team’s defensive coordinator.
Exact schedules for the eight-team league have not been released, but ESPN and Fox Sports have signed on to televise games on ABC, Fox and ESPN, ESPN2, FS1 and FS2. According to ESPN, the league’s TV schedule will feature back-to-back games on Saturday and two games on Sunday.
