If there’s anyone who could ever pull you out of the coronavirus funk, it’s Paul Thorn. The Tupelo-based songwriter—an WMNF favorite who frequently played Skipper’s Smokehouse on his come up—has an uncanny ability to disarm audiences with his Southern drawl, and he’s coming back to Tampa Bay on February 17.

Tickets to see him play Clearwater’s Bilheimer Capitol Theatre go on sale Fri. July 10 at 10 a.m. EDT and start at $26.

And when it comes to COVID-19 regulations, Susan Crockett, Ruth Eckerd Hall's President and CEO, recently told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that, since her venues have no way of knowing what restrictions may be in place months from now, "we are certainly looking at options to adapt under different scenarios and that will depend on the show itself and the size of the audience."
