CL has been keeping an eye on Woven Water Brewery, ever since we noticed that its owner Jay Jones applied for an alcoholic beverage sales permit last October.

The highly-anticipated craft beer brewery is set to open at 456 W. Columbus Dr. in the first quarter of 2020— although an exact debut date is still unknown.

The Tampa Heights brewery will have a 1,500-square-foot tasting room, to dish out a variety of beer styles including IPAs, blondes, lagers, stouts, as well as other beverages like wine. The rest of the massive warehouse will be for brewing Woven Water’s signature beers out of its newly-acquired 10-barrel stainless steel brewhouse.

Jones, the head brewer and co-founder of Woven Water, has previously brewed for Brew Hub in Lakeland and 81Bay in Tampa.

“Craft beer is woven water,” Jones said in an official statement. “Once we get our brewery operating, not only do we intend to weave quality and care into the products we offer, but also weave ourselves into the local community, in which we have already begun to do with an overwhelmingly positive show of support.”
