As Tampa Bay continues to evolve into a foodie destination, those itching to freshen up their social media feeds are in luck. Next month, Milkin It, a coffee shop and cereal bar will make its debut at 1000 Channelside Dr. in Tampa.

Shooting for an early to mid-September opening, Milkin It's menu can be eaten for breakfast, dessert, or as a midday snack. Co-founder Sebastien Rivas—who's opening Milkin It with his business partner Jordon Unsell—connected with CL to spill the deets.

Guests will have their choice of nostalgic eats, with a selection of cereals like Fruity Pebbles and Captain Crunch. Rather than your ordinary milk, the concept has created three different offerings, almond milk made with coconut sugar, milk made with brown sugar, and cornflake infused cereal milk.

Pulling another rabbit out of his hat, Rivas also plans on making ice cream infused with cereal milk.

The joint is also set to serve up smoothies, vegan cookies, as well as Cuban and egg sandos. All products are baked and created in-house allowing customers to choose between snagging pastries (similar to Pop-Tarts) from the case or creating a custom flavor of their own. Other menu options include doughnuts, pandebono (Colombian cheese bread), espresso drinks and iced coffee.

When it comes to seating, there are 16 seats indoor as well as outdoor tables with umbrellas. Just a heads up, due to CDC regulations, social distancing and limited capacity are still in effect. Bring your mask and keep your space. Street parking is available for customers to slide by and get their sips.

Rivas says Milkin It will kick off service with dine-in and takeout and plans to venture out with delivery services after Tampa Bay gets their freshly poured first impressions.

More details to come as the opening date approaches.
