The Hillsborough County Commishes seek volunteers to serve on a variety of boards and councils, including the Consumer Protection Board, Health Care Advisory Board, Planning Commission, Sign Appeals Board and Historic Resources Review Board. Two boards that really should merge: Backflow and Back-Siphonage Control Board and the Gas Board of Adjustment. Or maybe it's just me. No pay, just the satisfaction of being a participatory citizen.
