The storied Seattle-based department store takes special pride in shoes. They feature most of the top brands, and some high-price vanity models that would set some folks back a month´s rent. Beyond a good selection, the kicks are classily displayed in a spacious section of the store. The sales folk are, like everyone else at Nordstrom, attentive and dutiful — and they truly seem to understand the quaint notion that the customer is always right.
