Even though she drummed in one of the Tampa Bay area's most buzzed-about bands (Sleepy Vikings), had started establishing herself as a frontwoman to be reckoned with in noise-rock outfit Loins, and delivered impressive showcases of her visual art imaginings via assorted platforms around town, SUNY Purchase fine arts grad school called, and the effervescent Ryann Slauson had to answer. SUNY's gain is Tampa's loss, but here's hoping that the roads lead her back here to brighten up the scene again one day.
