Tonight in live music; Jackie Evancho, Goodfires, SunGhosts and more

Yes, holiday music is in there, too.

Jackie Evancho At 10-years old, Jackie Evancho was a runner-up on America’s Got Talent. She ended up on the Billboard charts. She’s now a sage at 16-years-old and a confirmed inauguration act for president-elect Trump (she's performed for Obama, too). Evancho brings her new album, Coming Home Pt. II to Ruth Eckerd Hall where fans can expect her to also dip into the debut full length (O Holy Night) that made her into classical crossover vocal sensation. (Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater) INFO

Goodfires/Dunies/Shurwood/Ivy League Dropouts/Broken Things/Odina Call it post-rock, ambient, whatever, just don't say it isn't good. Brunswick, Georgia's Goodfires are bringing a new EP, Wherever It May Take You, to Lucky You Tattoo, and they're also dragging Gainesville surf/skate punks Dunies down for the show, too. (Lucky You Tattoo, Seminole) INFO

SunGhosts and Future Thieves Grammy-winner Joel Someillán produced the debut LP from Miami's SunGhosts, but we're even more stoked that he also wrote the theme song for Telemundo's Silvana Sin Lana ("“Que bonito es lo bonito"). The band themselves play a SoFla brand of surf rock, which you can hear below. (Fubar, St. Petersburg) INFO
