3 Doors Down, Crate Bros.' Mixtapes and Ybor Speaks lead Tampa Bay's Wednesday live music lineup

Hump day jams.

3 Doors Down w/Soul Asylum It’s been almost two years, but who’s really interested in letting 3 Doors Down live down that time it played Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony? The Escatawpa, Mississippi band’s left-leaning fans, who were admittedly a little harsh in their online criticism, definitely aren’t, but neither are the folks who flocked to iTunes and wherever music is still sold (3DD’s 2012 Greatest Hits album sold 3,000 copies in the week after the gig, and the Trump bump sent the compilation to No. 94 on the Billboard Top 200). Former college rockers turned latter-day prom-rock balladeers Soul Asylum open the show. (Al Lang Field, St. Petersburg) INFO

Ybor Speaks w/Rising Down An Ybor spoken-word series continues its run with a a night of poetry and music all anchored by Bay area rock band Rising Down. (First Chance Last Chance Bar, Ybor City) INFO

Mixtapes: Celebrates The Eighties Hump day shenanigans unfold at Orpheum where The Crate Bros. bring their Mixtapes monthly dance party to the 80s. Did somebody say "kill the keg" just now? (Orpheum, Ybor City) INFO
