How was your weekend? Free from flying bullets and questionable choices in nightlife entertainment, one hopes.

FRIDAY, APRIL 27:

News broke Friday of a Pasco County law enforcement action Thursday night that ended in 14 arrests at three area strip clubs. Remember when you were younger and actually went to strip clubs and you were like, "Man, those gross strip clubs are giving ALL strip clubs a bad name," and then a few years later you just sort of realized and accepted that most strip clubs that don't have a prohibitively high cover charge are gross? It was a sad day, but one of growth.

Then again, Pasco County strip clubs give some people better things to do in the middle of the night than going around shooting up strangers' houses in New Port Richey.

SATURDAY, APRIL 28:

The Boston Bruins beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 in the opening game of round 2 of the playoffs. The last time these two teams met in the playoffs, in 2011, the Bruins won the series, then went on to take the Stanley Cup. Is that enough of a foundation for the building of a true rivalry? Yes. Yes, it is.

SUNDAY, APRIL 29:

And finally, the Boston Red Sox choked out an eight-game winning streak by the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, beating them 4-3 at Fenway. Yeah, it's official: Tampa Bay sports fans need to hate Boston. Like, even more than usual.
