Good morning. You have crested the hill between Monday and Friday. Look back and revel in your progress.

The Hillsborough County Commission showed its support for St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman's campaign to bring back cross-bay ferry service on a seasonal basis by agreeing to pitch in $150,000 should the project move forward. Kriseman wants Pinellas, Hillsborough, St. Pete and Tampa to each contribute that amount toward bringing the ferry back during snowbird season, from November to April. "What about the commuter aspect?" asked a local resident whose job allows them to take two hours to get to work and drink a couple of craft beers along the way.

Some dumb jackass homophobe who doesn't know how to spell "snipers" or "eradicate" posted a threat to this weekend's St. Pete Pride activities on social media. Love will always triumph over fear. Also, you've gotta be pretty stupid to spend that much time masturbating to Guns & Ammo and still not know how to spell "snipers."

A commissioner for the city of Lakeland has proposed making it legal to drink beer in some downtown spaces. Man, that's gonna be a pretty hefty Lyft fare to and from Cycle Brewing. And your Fixie's probably gonna get warm on the trip, too.

And finally, a Clearwater woman whose home was burglarized on Father's Day helped get a criminal arrested when she found all of the stuff stolen from her house for sale on online sales site OfferUp. It was this close to being the crime of the century, but for the idiocy.
